He thought his things were his. She thought her food was hers. Both of them thought that to own, enjoy, feel powered – sharing was not important.
They didn’t understand that by not sharing they were locked into their own self-obsessed world. Who they were, what they knew, how something made them feel special or lessened, always remained uncelebrated between both of them.
Lack of something very simple but utterly valuable between the two departed them to different countries. Unhappy and exhausted with hackneyed selfishness they started missing each other like never before.
Until at the same time, at different places they beheld the Sun for the first time on its remarkable and purest journey. They admired how the Sun without boundaries, discrimination and without owning its monopoly shares its warmth and life with every being.
The greatness of sharing which they observed in the Sun brightened their vision towards the world. And, then…? They came home and together started sharing with food, things and stories they never shared before.
They started sharing their life with every morsel they exchanged. They have now created the aura of sharing upon the world and that aura is connecting the different worlds of people together.
Sharing is making the world a better place to live and love while bringing everybody close to unselfishness, care and kindness. But, who are these he and she in the story? Let’s search for them – In us.
Sharing helps in expressing emotions that are shut inside us on a nowhere island. Especially, when you share your food with someone, it means that you have truly accepted the person and their diversity which makes him or her differently special.
